「我其實沒有想到他們會有這麼多相似，卻又完全相反的地方。」
與這對兄弟的相遇很偶然，在東海讀研究所時，榕蔚是學弟；退伍後到南藝任教時，律丞是我的學生。得知他們是兄弟時我十分驚訝，因為從作品上完全看不出來。
這檔展覽並非比較兩人有多少相似的地方，而是試圖讓相似自己長出差異，讓差異在同一空間裡互為回聲。

“I never expected them to be so alike, yet completely opposite.”
My encounter with the two brothers was pure coincidence: when I was in graduate school at Tunghai University, Jung-Wei was an undergraduate junior; years later, after military service, I taught at Tainan National University of the Arts, where Lü-Cheng became my student. I was astonished to learn they were brothers, because nothing in their works revealed any trace of kinship.
This exhibition does not compare how similar they are, but instead lets similarity generate its own difference—and lets those differences echo within the same space.
