城市拓樸學-心像風景的流變

創作是轉譯「心象」於繪畫作中的實踐歷程,試圖呈現出當代時空下-心像中的風景:城市拓樸。心像風景是對於人、事、物的複合觀察,經歷內化,而得以演化後的「再詮釋」,當中的象徵與隱喻,同樣是以人的本位出發, 但不以記錄具體的人形及活動的景像表現。「心象風景」其實更暗示了象徵或隱喻的本質,不是寓言,或神秘學的詮釋,而是另一種曖昧、無限,且重氣氛的圖像儀式。藉由繪畫創作的層疊筆觸的耙梳畫面的肌理,並試圖拓張出的空間向度,折射出意識的觀看方式。 除了是由外觀世界、心理反射和內在感性所交融而成外,並視創作者自己內在主觀感情的擴張及表現為藝術的主要目的。

Urban Topology-A Transitioning Mindscape

Creation is a journey of practice, of translating one's 'mental images’ onto the canvas in an attempt to portray what one sees in situations of the contemporary: an urban topology. Mindscapes are composite observations about people, places, or things, a 'reinterpretation" that evolves out of internalization. Their symbolism and metaphors all stem from the positionality of the human, but are not presented in expressive, concrete landscapes of humans or activities."Mindscapes", rather, hint at the very nature of symbolism or metaphor, not allegorical or mythical interpretations, but an ambiguous, limitless, and atmospheric ritual of imagery. I comb through the textures of the image through the layered touch of painting, while refracting the viewing method of consciousness itself through the spatial bearings I draw out. Aside from the intersection of the external world, psychological projection and internal sensibility,I also view the expansion and expression of the creator's internal subjective feelings as the primary objective of art..
