「寄居的日記」#賴詩芸 個展 The Lodger’s Diary - Lai Shin-Yun Solo Exhibition
「寄居的日記」是藝術家賴詩芸對日常生活中的不適感的記錄和轉譯。作品中那些姿態疲軟、神情漠然的人物，既是藝術家的自我投影，也是概念化後的社會個體。
他們以近乎荒誕的行動回應社會的期待和他人的目光，試圖在既定的社會關係中，尋找安放自身的位置。然而內在感受與外部規範之間的細微摩擦和矛盾，終究折損了個體的敏感心靈，因而使人陷入一種難以言明，卻又如鯁在喉的疏離感和分裂感。
這些感受或許微小如塵埃，但卻又是真實而普遍。每一件作品，都是藝術家向觀眾敞開的心理窗景。往窗景看去，這些碎片化的生活情景，不僅是藝術家日常的心理劇場，也是每一個「寄居」在當代社會之中的個體的生命處境。
The Lodger‘s Diary is Lai Shih-Yun’s record and translation of the subtle discomforts embedded in everyday life.
The weary, expressionless figures that inhabit her paintings are both projections of the artist herself and conceptual embodiments of contemporary individuals. Through gestures that verge on the absurd, they attempt to answer social expectations and the gaze of others, searching for a place to settle within predetermined social relationships. Yet the persistent friction between inner experience and external norms gradually wears away one‘s emotional sensitivity, leaving behind an inexpressible sense of estrangement—as though one could never truly feel at home.
These emotions may seem as insignificant as dust, yet they are both real and widely shared. Each work opens a psychological window onto the artist’s inner world. Looking through it, viewers encounter not only fragmented scenes from the artist‘s everyday mental landscape, but also a reflection of the shared condition of those who, in one way or another, live as lodgers in contemporary society.
