Mapping Memories 後花園 ｜ Tien Hsin Solo Exhibition 田歆 個展

當距離拉開後，才真正清楚想念的重量。在初次相遇中拼命探尋似曾相似之處，用回憶層層覆蓋正在發生的現實。天真的，試圖在離鄉背景之中，透過捏造出的熟悉感，為徬徨無措的心找到安身的方法。
When distance grows, the weight of longing finally becomes clear. In that first encounter, we tried so hard to search for traces of familiarity, layering memories over the reality unfolding before us. Naively, we tried to find a place for our unsettled hearts by fabricating a sense of belonging while being far away from home.
| 關於藝術家About the Artist I
田歆，2001年生於臺北。東海大學美術系學士，英國里茲大學藝術史與文化研究學院美術系碩士畢。其創作以繪畫為主要媒介，關注所處環境與他方記憶之間的連結，探索記憶片段如何與當下情感共鳴，並影響對物質世界的感知。
Tien Hsin (b. 2001, Taipei) Graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at Tunghai University, and holds an MA in Fine Art from the School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies at the University of Leeds. Her artistic practice centers on painting, exploring the relationship between her immediate surroundings and memories of elsewhere. Through painting, she examines how fragments of memory resonate with present emotions and shape the perception of the material world.
